Oh, I am weeping enough for all of us, not to worry. The sweater is beautiful. Glad you all had a good time on the 4th.

I loved the photos of the dog and expecially the dog and the ball; the cat photo could have been edited out. Did anything explode? It can't be the 4th of July without exploding stuff. I spent most of the evening under the bed.
Woof

Hi Anna,
Just for accuracy's sake, the new self-designed sweater was fully and solely the work of my lovely and talented sister, Sarah. Credit where credit is properly due.

We do the blog together and alternate days.

But many thanks so much for your compliment on Rogue! Sarah spun the yarn I'm using for it.

Wow! Rogue is beautiful, and the new sweater you designed for yourself looks great! Your Independence Day celebration sounds like fun, too. My Raging Grannies group afflicted the comfortable all afternoon, reminding people of all the things that have been done to destroy what our forefathers struggled so hard to gain.

Now what shall I do with the roving I won from Cara? Who will teach me? *Wondering with a very sad face, holding her mongolian cashmere and baby camel top*

Love the international flavor of your Independence Day gathering--guacamole, Celtic cables, Italian sausage, Fair Isle. And on the American side--hamburgers, Sam Adams and Jimmy Stewart. You had it all.
