[...] I’m really excited about this yarn, because of the mohair content, naturally. (You all know about my love affair with mohair, right?) Of course, the Mountain Colors yarn that I bought at Stash has some mohair content, as well, so that’s exciting too. (You have to find these little things every day to keep you going, you know?)
I'm willing to step up, make the sacrifice, and take that purple mohair off your hands. I see a beautiful shawl (possibly Icarus??) from that yarn - you know, if you want to divest yourself of the mohair habit. :D

Oh, thanks Leanne! Do you have a really big house to keep it all in? 'Cause that's what it would take. Just warning you...

Monica, maybe that's why I've never knitted up all my mohair--I'm a somewhat fluffy person myself. And you know those dire warnings we're always hearing about fluffy yarns adding pounds... Oh, what the hell, I think we should just go for it. Damn the torpedoes! Full speed ahead!

You know there's only one cure for fiberaholism. You must get rid of all of it. All of it, I tell you. And as much as it would pain me to do so, I would agree to take it all. Only to help you of course. I have your best interest at heart. Really. I do.

Y'know, pix like this just leave me sitting at the computer drooling, thinking, "OHyum..." Really, not a pretty sight.

I myself have 2 (I think) big bags of Paton's mohair, about 900 yds/bag, white, that I got on sale about 25 years ago. They're just waiting for the perfect project. Which as a very fluffy person, takes some thinking. (Slight understatement there, considering precisely how *long* I've been 'thinking'.) I mean, one does not want to emphasize the fluffiness too tremendously, or one may have harpooners following. Especially if one leaves said mohair white, instead of having a dyeing orgy. But mohair is so delectable! And I was less fluffy in those days. ;)
