[...] As I wrote last week, I finished a pair of socks for Rob recently. He has put them into heavy wearing rotation, which of course warms the little cockles of my heart. There’s nothing like having someone really enjoy what you have made for them to make a knitter feel good.
I'm mystified. How does the yarn know how to go into stripes? And, when you use a colorway, how do the different colors know to line up? This has been bugging me since I started reading Knitsisters.

Thanks - I know I usually post to Ellen, since I know her, but Sarah, I'm starting to feel as I know you too :-)

Egads, even socks?! Fantastic. You should enter them in something! How often does this happen except in sample socks knit by people for the yarn mfr's.?? Love the CTH, I've got a skein awaiting me to try it the first time. And I keep eyeing that seller's eBay auctions covetously. The Suffolk is looking good, and you're almost there...

Love that Cherry Tree Hill Supersock! It's one of my favorite sock yarns, in fact.

And the pair of socks you made for Rob are amazing. My stripes NEVER match up. Sigh.

Glad you are back!
