You are very, very welcome. It really was my pleasure. After all, what else could I have possibly given you two? It's kind of like having a plumber in the family: Why would you hire someone outside the clan to do your plumbing for you?
I'm so glad that you were pleased!

Glad to know that the reception was wonderful. You and Alex look divine... and most importantly, happy. And the yard and house look so lovely, too! Huge props to Sarah for such fabulous cakes.

Wish Robyn and I could have been there, too. Much love.

Hi Sherlock's Daddy! What lovely sentiments! I am honored and touched.

Although I do have to take issue with you on this beauty and the dress issue. It is the dress, Pop. Hate to break it to you, but I think the anthropologists would back me up on this. The dress is a uniform that confers beauty on the wearer, even if the wearer is not, perhaps, in her "first youth."

It's no joke. That's obviously why those gowns cost an arm and a leg, right?

But I appreciate your consistent insistence otherwise. Probably even more than you know.

Now. I understand that congratulations are in order for you, but I'll say no more until I am cleared to go public...

Hey Ellen, you really should stop pretending that you didn't know you made a beautiful bride. The photos are here to prove it. It was never the dress, it was you.
The families of both the bride and the groom were so happy and proud! Your lives together will be amazing. I'm so happy to say that Ellen is my son's wife [and that you are my daughter-in-law]. Health, love and money, and the time to enjoy them.
Love.

If one is going to all the trouble of getting/fitting a wedding dress, I think it is only proper to be able to wear it at least 3 times! Wonderful pictures, wonderful family and friends - warmest congratulations to you all. Sarah, you are the perfect sister/sister-in-law!

What fun to see all these photos, Sarah and Ellen! I especially love the "serious" photo. A friend of mine from Holland sometimes refers to himself as "serious man" and takes very "serious" photos. So this struck a funny nerve.

It looks like a fabulous time was had by all, and Sarah is welcome to come cook at my house anytime!
