I love Ren. Faires...but the one near the city that I live in kind of stinks and the idea of travelling out to the one in N.Y (which is considerably larger than King Richard's and also considerably cheaper to get into) in some of my gorgeous hand-made period gowns makes me cringe. Corsetting just ain't that fun to actually sit in for long periods of time.

Ah well, it looks like you had a blast. Hope you ate at least one of the HUGE turkey legs that seems to be a food staple at those things! Mostly so I can live vicariously through you of course!:)

Looks like great fun! I see there was mud, which means the heat wave has finally broken? Glad to see that you and Howard got out to do something fun! Did they have yarn? Or at least some fleece to purchase?

Looks like a lot of fun! Did they still have the turkey drumsticks?

Gotta run. I have a baseball game to watch... If the Red Sox lose tonight, things will look considerably more bleak. So far, no score...
