We were without power in one storm for 3 whole days. We were starting to get kind of cold in the house and wondered where we going to sleep on the 4th day, but they came around with a truck and got us turned back on. Looks like that poor ol' tree needs a pruning. The section going out to the right from the base of your trunk could break off later and do the same thing as the left side! Anything coming out at a steep angle like that could have dire consequences, as I have learned in the past. Hope your roof's still in one piece.
