Welcome Back! I love your blog. All the scarf pictures were great! Scarves are ideal when you just want to practice a new stitch.

I, too, am glad to see a blog entry. I have a couple of Sarah scarves that I've received as gifts from her. One is pink and a very good everyday scarf that keeps the wind from going down your neck. (And we do have wind in Missouri!) The other is a lovely deep aqua Mobius scarf /hood made, I think, with an angora blend. I get many compliments on it every time I wear it!

I, too, am glad to "see" you again. And loved the notion of identifying the perfect scarf. My grandma used to have two designations for her handkerchiefs... "Show-ers" - those pretty, lacy ones that don't actually help much if you really need to blow; and "Blow-ers" - plain, functional and usually borrowed from grandpa's stash. Scarves seem to also sort themselves into categories...some are simply "show-ers".
